HEIGHT SAFETY : Managing Working at Height Safely

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This course has been designed for management and supervisory staff who are required under the working at height regulations 2005 to be responsible for those under their control, either employed or contractors who will be working at height and have a duty of care towards the general public.

INTRODUCTION TO MANAGING HEIGHT SAFETY

The course is designed to provide the following:

• An overview of the problems associated with managing working at height safety.
• The background of the Working at Height Regulations 2005 and their development and impact on industry.
• Your duty of care under legislation and how your actions and omissions effect those under your control and the public.
• An outline of the Requirements for Planning, Organising and Managing working at height safety.
• A look at the hierarchy of control and the equipment involved in the different stages of it.
