The BSC Awards Level 2 Certificate in Risk Assessment provides formal recognition of an employee's ability to undertake a suitable and sufficient safety risk assessment in line with the Health and Safety Executive's Five Steps to Risk Assessment.
Safety Risk Assessment Certification
The Certificate is based on the national occupational standards for health and safety and is accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) at Level 2 in the National Qualifications Framework.
Fit for purpose assessment involves the candidate undertaking a structured risk assessment task in his/her workplace. This risk assessment will benefit not only the candidate, but also the employer. The candidate's risk assessment is sent to an external examiner for marking.
